What Is the Smart City Kit?
Smart City Kit brings AI learning into real public service scenarios. With UNIHIKER K10, students create interactive systems for museum guidance, exhibit protection and other future city services.
The kit helps students understand how AI systems sense information, recognize patterns, respond to people or objects, and improve services in a smart city.

What Is Included in the Kit?
• Materials
The kit box includes the main hardware modules, cables, building parts, and printed learning materials needed for the Smart City projects.
Please note: the UNIHIKER K10 is not included in this kit. To complete the full teaching process, the UNIHIKER K10 needs to be purchased separately.

• Lesson resources
The kit also provides lesson resources for classroom use, including Challenge Cards, Educator Guides, Building Instructions, and starter or example programs. These resources help teachers prepare lessons more efficiently and help students follow each task step by step.

• General setup resources
Before starting the lessons, scan the resource code to access general setup resources, such as protective case installation guides and module installation instructions.

• Cables
The kit includes two types of cables: twisted cables and colored cables.
Twisted cables are used to connect sensors directly to the UNIHIKER K10. Colored cables are used to connect sensors to the expansion board.


Getting started to UNIHIKER K10
1.Connecting to your UNIHIKER K10
To use UNIHIKER K10 you first need to connect it to your computer.
Step1: Open the Mind+ editor
Go to https://ide.mindplus.top/upload/projects/editor to start programming.

Step2: Connect your UNIHIKER K10Connect UNHIKER K10 and computer with the cable. Add the right Extension. Connect the device in the Mind+ editor.

(2)Select Extension

(3)Add the UNIHIKER K10

(4)Select Connect Device , then click Connect Device

Step3: Create a new project.
Select New Project, Name your project and check that the K10 is still connected.

NOTE: You can also select Load Project to open an existing Mind+ project.
Next, drag blocks into the programming area. When the program is ready, click Upload to run it on the UNIHIKER K10.

Click upload to run.

2.The Mind+ online editor

1.Go extension for more libraries. 2.Use block categories to help you find the block you are looking for. 3.Drag blocks from the block library onto the program canvas. 4.Undo or redo your last action; Zoom in or out to get a better look. 5.right click on a block for more options: (1)Duplicate (2)Add comment (3)Delete 6.Connect you device. 7.Show/hide the text code. 8.Click upload to run the program. |
