Your cat ignores your calls but comes running when you open a bag of treats?
Use UNIHIKER K10’s audio recording, cat and dog detection, and servo control features to build Pavlov’s Pet Feeder!
First, record yourself calling your cat. Then let UNIHIKER K10 run five rounds of calling and feeding. Its camera checks whether your cat appears and records how many rounds it shows up in. Repeatedly pairing the call with food may help your cat associate the two and love you more!

KUD Learning Goals

Program Design
The core program logic is:
Play the recorded call → Release treats → Detect a cat face → Record whether the cat appears

Full Program
Step 1:

Step 2:

Final Step:

The count increases when a cat face is first detected in each round. Further detections in the same round do not count. Detecting a cat face only confirms that the cat appears in the camera view—not that it has eaten the treat.
Watch the Lesson
Follow the video lesson to build your own Pavlov’s Pet Feeder!
Once you have finished, change the reminder and detection area to create an AI Pet Water Reminder. Keep exploring the same idea: play a reminder, check for a response, and record the count.
